Modern Day Commodities completed this Office Build-Out in Dunwoody, GA as the commercial general contractor of record, delivering private offices, open office areas, conference rooms, corridors, and interior finishes for a fully operational workspace.

Scope included metal stud framing, drywall, ACT ceilings, commercial carpet, interior paint, wood doors with frames and hardware, millwork, and built-ins. MDC self-performed and coordinated all MEP trades in accordance with OSHA construction standards and managed the project from rough-in through final punch list and tenant turnover. MDC serves as the office build-out contractor for commercial clients throughout Metro Atlanta, handling each project from permit to move-in as a qualified tenant improvement contractor.

Construction Details

How It Was Built

Partition Walls & Framing

Private offices and open work areas were defined using metal stud framing, drywall, and glass partition systems. Wall assemblies were finished to a paint-ready surface with wood door frames and commercial hardware throughout.

Ceilings & Finishes

Acoustical ceiling tile grids were installed throughout the office suite. Interior paint, accent walls, and finish work were completed to professional office standards – including a teal accent wall and millwork details visible in the completed spaces.

Flooring & Turnover

Commercial carpet was installed throughout the office areas and corridors. MDC coordinated all finish trades through final inspection and punch list, delivering a fully completed, move-in ready office build-out for Kemco in Dunwoody, GA.
